Jeffrey Karow, 18, Powers Lake, was exiting Burger King parking lot onto Wells Street when his truck hit the car driven by Barbara Schneider, 57, May ville, at 1:18 AM June 4. The car of Ruth Wall, Lyons Township, was parked unattended at Geneva Square Shopping Center when it apparently slipped out of gear and rolled back, hitting the parked attended car of Robert Collins, Elkhom, at 4:05 PM. June 2.

Theresa Taylor, 34, Route 3 was pulling away from the curb in the 600 block of Main when her station wagon hit the eastbound car of Allen Weyrauch, 28, Lake Geneva, at 2:45 PM. June 1. John Michael Zink, 25, 118 Williams Street was backing from a driveway in the 200 block of Madison Street when he hit the passing car operated by Shirley Meister, 57, 641 Woodland Drive, at 1:15 PM. June 1. C.

Smith, 65, Hebron, IL. Rugg charged with failure td yield right ot way. The van operated by Richard 20, Hebron, IL, hit the parked car of Willard B. Edwards, Burlington, in the Lake Geneva Raceway parking lot at 11:15 PM. May 4.

A1 The car driven by Tammy S. Akey, 21, New Munster and van operated by Stefan Denega, 39, Des Plaines, IL, collided at Main and Broad treets May 4. Police said Akey was indicating she would turn left and Denega was attempting to pass her on the right when Akey mind and turned right The station wagon driven by Deborah Hill Pagel, 20, Arvada, CO, was slowing from traffic in the 600 block of 5. Lake Shore Drive when it was hit from behind by the truck driven by Patricia Hafs, 18, Route 1, Genoa City, at 5 PM. June 4.

Christopher G. Hagstrom, 18, Fontana, was westbound on Highway 50 near Pearson Drive when another vehicle pulled left and forced him onto the cement median. The undercarriage of his Car Hits Jerald A. Smudde, 19, Route 3, Elkhom, was injured when he was hit by a car in the 100 block of Wells Street at 11:11 PM Friday, June 3. Smudde received arm and leg injuries and was taken to Lakeland Hospital.

Smudde told police that he believed he had time to run across the street in front of an oncoming vehicle, but misjudged its speed and distance. The car was driven by Brian J. Krueger, 19, Route 4, Elkhom. Terrence Rugg, 18, Elgin, IL, was injured when his car was hit by a semi truck at Highways 36 North and 12 at 9:33 PM May 30. He received head and body injuries but was not hospitalized.

Lake Geneva police said Rugg was southbound on 36 and attempted a left turn onto 12, running into the path of the southbound truck operated by Albert Janie A. Tebbe Services Held Janie A. Tebbe, 90, formerly of 250 Havenwood Drive in Lake Geneva, died on Wednesday, June 1, at Sherwood Care Center in Williams Bay. She was born April 12, 1898, in Louisiana, the daughter of Dan and Sarah Rogillio. She married Herbert H.

Tebbe on tyov. 23, 1946, in Iowa. She was a resident of the Geneva Lake area for the past 20 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake Geneva and for many years was a physical therapist at Mercy Hospital in Davenport, IA, retiring in 1966. Survivors include: one step daughter, Marilyn Stamp of Lake Geneva; seven step grandchildren; and 11 step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. Funeral services were held at 1:30 PM on Monday, June 6, at Davenport Memorial Cemetery Chapel in Davenport, IA. Steinke Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements. 14, 1940, the daughter of Walter and Marie Spiewak Hegner in Chicago, where she lived until moving to Twin Lakes in 1948. On Feb. 21, 1958, she married Kenneth Kue in Antioch, IL. She worked as a cook for the Randall School District for 18 years and as a deli-clerk for Richter's Sentry Food Store in Twin Lakes. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Twin Lakes.

Mrs. Kube is survived by her husband; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hegner, Twin Lakes; three daughters, Mrs. Paul Rudolph, Twin Lakes; Mrs.

Jeff Wetherbce, Silver Lake and Mrs. Gendva VanLicre, Franklin'; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 11 AM Saturday at the Haase Funeral Chapel in Twin Lakes with Rev. Larry Henning officiating. Interment was in Mound Prairie Cemetery, Twin Lakes.

Rites Held for Amanda Henke Amanda Henke, 91, of 521 Center Street in Lake Geneva, died Thursday, June 2, at her granddaughter's home in Janesville. She was born on Nov. 21, 1896, in Winthrop, MN, the daughter of Louie and Anna (Spaude) Borchert. She married August Henke on Nov. 7, 1915, in Winthrop.

He died on Dec. 27, 1949. She was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lake Geneva. Survivors include: one granddaughter, Paulette Steinke of Janesville; one grandson, Gerald Steinke of Lake Geneva; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Alma Gunncss of Edgerton; and one brother, Ted Borchert of Winthrop. She was preceded in death by: two daughters, two sons, a sister, and three brothers.

Funeral services were held at 2 PM Saturday, June 4, at Steinke Funeral Home with Rev. Donald B. West officiating. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery in Whitewater. Pallbearers were: Jeffrey Steinke, Kenneth Schenk, Bradley Schenk, Javine Peterson, Neil Cushman, and Phil Kcesey.

Rosemarie Kube Funeral Held i Rosemarie Kube, 48, 975 Legion Drive, Twin Lakes, died Wednesday afternoon June 1, at the Memorial Hospital of Burlington. The former Rosemarie Hegner was from Taylor University, Upland, IN, then studied for three years at Drew Seminary, Madison, NJ, to complete training for the ministry. His first appointment as minister was to a church at Marion, IN, in 1938. Hanley came to Wisconsin in 1953 and served parishes in the northwest part of the state until coming to Lake Geneva in 1972. While in Lake Geneva, he was a member of the Kiwanis Club.

After moving to Texas in 1985, he was a member of the Woodlands United Methodist Church and the Woodlands Kiwanis Club. Surviving are his wife; a son, Dr. Larry H. Hanley, Woodlands, TX; two daughters, Marjorie Hanley, Minneapolis, MN and Wilma Bohn, Federal Way, WA; a brother, Herbert, Upland, IN; 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Final rites were held Tuesday at the Jones Funeral Home, 309 N.

Main Street, Upland, IN. Rev. Milo Redigcr officiated. Burial was in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, IN. The family suggested memorials to the Woodlands United Methodist Church, 3901 S.

Panther Creek Drive, Woodlands, TX, 77387. Services Held For Ray Leonard Raphael (Ray) Leonard, 71, of Whitewater died Monday, May 30, at Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital. He was bom Oct. 1, 1916, in Marengo, IL, the son of William and Anna McKeown Leonard He had farmed in the White-water area and distributed the Janesville Gazette, Wisconsin State Journal, and Chicago Tribune. He married Betty Nott on Feb.

25, 1941, in Elkhom. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Milton, KCs, Farmers Union, and an usher at the church. Survivors include his wife; one brother, William of Lake Geneva; one son, Raphael Jr. of Whitewater; three Rev.

Keith Hanley, 73, former pastor of the Lake Geneva United Methodist Church, died at 12:40 AM Friday, June 3, in a Houston, TX, nursing home where he had been a patient for two days. Hanley served the Lake Geneva church from 1972 to until he retired in 1980. From 1980 to 1985 he was a minister of the Methodist congregation at Lyons. Hanley was bom and raised in Grant County, LN. He and his wife, Caroline, were married shortly after he had graduated from high school.

They farmed in the Upland, IN, area for four years before he decided to study for the ministry. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree Annie Aspinall Rites June 9 Annie M. Aspinall, 90, 539 Franklin Street, died Saturday, June 4, at Sherwood Care Center, Williams Bay. She was bom June 18, 1897, in Lake Geneva, the daughter of Fred and Adeline Balsley Bence. She attended local schools.

She married George Aspinall in November 1921 in Lake Geneva. He died April 10, 1950. Mrs. Aspinall worked as a telephone operator here many years ago and later clerked at Bucknall Brothers Dry Goods Store in the 200 block of Broad Street. She was a member of the Lake Geneva First Congregational United Church of Christ.

Surviving are two sons, Edward, Casa Grande, AZ and William, Lake Geneva; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Carrie Lcmbkey, Lake Geneva. Final ritds will be held at 1 1 AM Thursday, June 9, at the First Congregational Church. Rev. Mark Jc-berg will officiate.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation is at Derrick Funeral Home Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM. and at the church Thursday after 10 AM.
